You’d never believe this was a steamed chicken. Another winner recipe from the recipe community: link is above, the chicken is stuffed with lemon, garlic, onion and celery, then brushed with a honey cinnamon paprika glaze and steamed in the Varoma for 60 minutes. Finished off with a 15 min quick roast in oven to crisp up the skin (10 minutes probably enough too). Gravy made from the reserved liquid in the thermomix bowl. The chicken breast is succulent and moist right through and the legs were eaten as soon as it came out of the oven before I could snap a photo. Many favourable comments on the recipe and the family agreed with all of them. Will not be oven roasting chicken again as the steaming keeps the meat so moist tender.
